Burns produced Devil’s Tower, starring Jason Mewes, the feature debut for writer Adam Marsh and director Owen Tooth, and he’s now looking to branch out his production company Hawthorn Productions; always hunting for up and coming talent. Burns’ last film, ALLIES, a World War two set action thriller was distributed by Eone in the UK and USA and was received extremely well by critics; by Burns’ own admission, ALLIES is by far and away his best work and has set the bar moving forward. Producing ‘Madness in the Method’, a film he developed with Jason Mewes (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Zach and Miri Make a Porno) as well co-wrote the script. ‘Madness in the Method’will be Mewes’ directorial debut and already has a confirmed cast which includes Mewes himself along with Danny Trejo (Machete), Hollywood legend Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma) and ‘Busted’ rock star, Matt Willis.

James has just come off the back of the first movie in the WWE deal. Shot in Vancouver, Canada – Marine 5 is a co-production with Sony, and set for release early 2017. The first time 6 WWE Superstars have ever been in one movie together. This movie is already generating high interest with wrestling and action fans around the world and looks set to securing James a bigger and better career in action cinema.


Jake West – Director/WriterJake West has a B.A Honours Degree in Film & Video (West Surrey College of Art & Design) and has worked extensively as both a director & writer in the film and television industry since 1993. Jake is passionately committed to creating high concept, top class, genre re-defining, projects with high commercial appeal. Jake is best know for his feature film work primarily in the horror genre.
