Femi Oyeniran is an award-winning actor/filmmaker who has starred in hit films including Kidulthood and Anuvahood. His first feature film as a writer/director It’s A Lot was released in cinemas in 2013.

On completing his law degree at the London School of Economics (LSE), Femi decided to focus on acting and filmmaking. In 2015, he produced a 10×30 minute series for Sky Living called Venus vs. Mars. In the same year, he directed short “Red Room” and feature film The Intent, which was released to unprecedented success for an independently produced and released film. It opened to sold-out cinemas and landed at number 3 on the iTunes Movies Chart. Femi is presently negotiating a deal for The Intent 2 with some of the leading distributors in the world.

Femi also co-runs production company PurpleGeko, which focuses on scripted comedy and drama content for all mediums. The company recently delivered mockumentary Dropperz to ITV, which Femi executive produced.

In 2015, he was selected as a “Ones To Watch” by the Edinburgh International TV Festival and a “Broadcast Hot Shot” by Broadcast Magazine. Femi recently completed a 6-month trainee producer placement on Kudos/Sky Atlantic series TIN STAR.
